Warehouse Worker

Location: Mississauga

Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Pay: $20.00/hr

Job duties as a Warehouse Worker:

• Assure processes and procedures are being adhered to
• Use of RF technology to pick, put away and pack all products
• Pack products and parts, using standard boxes and packing materials
• Load and unload trucks, using pump truck as required
• Stock put away to appropriate warehouse bin locations
• Ensure shipment accuracy
• Ensure inventory transaction accuracy
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Lifting up to 50lbs when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities 

• Picking customer orders with the use of a pick list and RF scanner.
• Packing merchandise and ensuring that precision instruments are properly wrapped and suitable for shipping
• Putting away inventory by sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to product code & bin assignment.
• Receive all incoming shipments, checking shipments against purchase orders and verifying contents of shipment against suppliers packing slip
• Warehouse housekeeping – ensure cleanliness at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience picking with RF scanner an asset
• Intermediate computer skills; experience receiving product with Microsoft Dynamics an asset
• Must possess a willingness to learn the current work tasks and improve upon the process
